Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 29, 2025
XP Labs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the XP DEPOT Discord bot ("Bot" or "Service"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, accessible from terms.html.
1. Information We Collect
To provide and improve our Service, we collect the following types of information:
- Discord User Information: When you or users on your server interact with the Bot, we may collect your Discord User ID, username, and discriminator.
- Discord Guild (Server) Information: We collect the Guild ID of servers where the Bot is added. We may also store server-specific settings configured by administrators, such as designated channels for announcements or enabled/disabled features.
- XP and Leveling Data: We store user XP, levels, and related statistics (e.g., message counts for XP calculation, last message timestamp for cooldowns) for each user in servers where the Bot is active.
- Game Data: For games played through the Bot, we may store game scores, participation data, and outcomes.
- Command Usage: We may log the commands used with the Bot, associated User IDs, and Guild IDs for purposes of service improvement, analytics, and abuse prevention. This does not include the content of user messages beyond the command itself.
- Subscription Information: If your server subscribes to premium features, Discord handles the payment processing. We receive information from Discord necessary to verify and manage the subscription status for your server (e.g., subscription tier, renewal date). We do not directly collect or store payment information like credit card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
XP Labs uses the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service (e.g., calculate XP, manage levels, run games).
- To personalize user experience (e.g., display rank cards).
- To manage server-specific configurations.
- To monitor the usage of the Service and prevent abuse.
- To provide customer support.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues.
- To manage premium subscriptions and provide access to corresponding features.
3. Data Storage and Security
The information we collect is stored on secure servers. We use MongoDB as our primary database for storing bot-related data. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data is stored for as long as the Bot is active on a server or as long as necessary to provide the Service. If the Bot is removed from a server, associated server-specific settings and user XP/level data for that server may be deleted after a reasonable period or upon request, subject to our data retention policies.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Discord: Information is inherently shared with Discord as the platform on which the Bot operates.
- Service Providers: We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (e.g., hosting, database management). These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
- Legal Requirements: XP Labs may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
- To comply with a legal obligation.
- To protect and defend the rights or property of XP Labs.
- To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service.

5. User Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your data. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us through our support channels. Server administrators can typically remove the bot from their server, which will cease further data collection for that server.
6. Children's Privacy
